Who we are

Commonside is a small, volunteer-run nonprofit project offering free email. We want everyday communication to feel simple and welcoming, whether you use Mail in your browser or a familiar email app.

One person coordinates the project, with volunteers helping with maintenance, testing and support. Clear feedback and practical contributions help us decide what to improve next.

New accounts require an invitation from Commonside. Applications are reviewed before access is granted.

Privacy is for everyone. Commonside is a shared space for communication, and the people using it deserve kindness, dignity and room to be themselves.

Please treat others with respect. Do not use the service for spam, phishing, harassment or harm. Be considerate of the volunteers and the shared resources that keep it running.
